SATA to PATA Superdrive adater?

Hello.

I have a "Superdrive Slim Slot-in DVD CD RW Burner SATA DRIVE HL GS31N" that I'd like to use in my older Macbook.

But, I see it's SATA while I believe my MacBook 4,1 from February 2008 uses a PATA connector. (I have not physically checked)

Is there any way I can adapt this SATA optical drive?

Thank you.

Maybe - there are such adaptors out there, but, there may not be enough space to fit it in, and you could have EFI problems.

Thank you. I counted this as a loss and just bought an internal cadi for an ssd and an external usb case for the superdrive that looks just like the apple one. combined cost 23 dollars free shipping, so I'm not bummed I cant install this drive I bought in haste.
