Why do I get an error message on iPod?
I try to restore my ipod classic and get an unknown error1439 message.

carlos, that could be caused by a recent update. Check the link on on this answer. You can also try this :"Format using your Windows Format. Then copy some 10 - 15G of files to it. Check that it also reads okay by opening one or two files. Close the copy windows then go to iTunes and the Restore should complete okay and syncing will then be okay." Hope this helps, good luck.
