Why is every thing red?

viewfinder shows every thing red.

What do your pictures look like? Are they normal or red as well?

This isnt a fix but use a bit of black electrical tape to cover the sensor at top left of camera lens. front of camera like 10 o'clock. with that covered the camera will take better photos.

Since your viewfinder, LCD and your picture turn out to be red, there are two possibilities. One is that your CCD image sensor has failed, the other one is that your UV filter has failed (not likely). The parts, as well as the service manual, are a bit hard to find, but the camera is fairly simple to disassemble. Hope this helps, good luck.
