Can I install 2x2,5 with a hdd-cage instead of the 3,5"?

I want to know if i can install 2 x 2,5" instead of the 3,5" HDD with a 3,5" hdd-cage?

Could there be a problem with length of the sata and power cabel?

I had 2 x 2.5 inch sata drives installed in the 3.5 bay.........

I had mine in an adapter cage, as you mentioned. The 2 drives sat in this plastic cage and then the plastic cage just slid into the 3.5 inch bay, really simple....

There will be some fiddling with cables as the sata power and data ports for both drives will be close together, but its not a problem, both drives will be at a similar distance to the PSU...

Have you got a modular PSU........this would make it easier with the cables....

i will take the ifixit.com cable-set or can i use other cables?
