Unresponsive Phone with Blinking Apple Symbol

I updated the software on my phone without plugging it into my computer, after the update was finished my phone wouldn't turn all the way on. The apple symbol just keeps popping up and then 10 seconds later it disappears and this cycle repeats. how can i fix this?

Hi,

i think there went something wrong with the update. i hope you have a backup. Put the iphone into DFU mode (press power button for 3 sec, then press power button and home button for 10 sec, the release the power button and hold the homebutton for about 15 sec) and then install the new software via iTunes.
