How do l get the control lock light to turn off?

The control lock button is lit up and will not turn off and my washing machine will not work with it on. I have unplugged it and plugged it back in and the light remains on. Thanks.

When you unplug it, let it sit four five minutes before plugging back in to allow it to reset.
