MacBook won't turn on, no post, Magsafe does NOT go amber

Hey all,

My buddy just gave me his non-working Macbook. It won't boot. In fact, the Magsafe light doesn't even go to amber. It just stays green.

I've tried a SMC reset, hold down Shift (left) +control + option + power button simultaneously. But that didn't fix anything.

Given those two facts, what else could it be? He said there's never been anything spilled on it and it's always had a keyboard cover on it.

Please please don't say logic board.

Options

Press the battery indicator light on the side of the machine. If you get nothing let it try to charge overnight. Check the battery connector to the logic board. Download and Run Coconut battery. http://www.coconut-flavour.com/coconutba...

Replace the battery.
