The touchscreen works partly no longer after replacing the home button

After replacing the home button works the left part of the touch screen no longer. With left part I mean the portion of the side to the q on the keyboard. How can it be made?

Jack, it is my experience, that if part of the touch screen is no longer responding, the digitizer circuit have failed. You can check your cable for small tears and check the connector to make sure it does not have any bend or broken pins, but ultimately I think it has failed and needs to be replaced.

Okay, so if I would put out a new display he would work again?

Yes it should if the rest of the checks on the connector is okay.
