What compass/magnetometer is used for the iPhone 5?

I really enjoyed reading about the iPhone 5 teardown, however, I would like to know why the electric compass/magnetometer was not included and where I could find it on the circuit board? Are there any pictures of it?

George Schirmer, see attached image for the location. As for who makes it, Asahi Kasei Microdevices (AKM) and it is their latest 3-axis compass. not much of a datasheet but a bit more info on here. Hope this helps, good luck.
