iPhone not working, screen tabs broken and it doesnt come on

I replaced the battery which seemed to work but then the tabs 1 and 2 fell off that were attached to the screen. So we used metal tape and electrical tape to try and put them back because soldering wasn't sticking. now it doesnt turn on and tab number 7 wont stay down! The main machine seems to work tho, it starting making the same sound as when I received emails but the screen doesn't work, Is this junk or can I fix it?

Meghan Locke, when you say " tabs 1 and 2 fell off" I suppose you mean connector 1 and 2, #1 is for the LCD and #2 is for the touch screen. #7 is for the antenna. Now when you say you tried to solder but it would not stick, I assume you are talking about soldering the connector back to the logic board. Unless you have the right tools and the experience, this is a very difficult task. Sticking it on the board with tape is not going to accomplish this. It will not make any contact with the board. I strongly suggest that you find somebody locally who is equipped to solder those connectors back on the board. Hope this helps, good luck.
