Can I make a password required to shut down?

This question is pretty self explanatory, can I require a password to shut my computer down? I have several important processes running at most times and people will sometimes shut it down.

Put a note on it that says, "DO NOT TOUCH OR SHUT DOWN".

You can also use the Security and Privacy setting in System preferences to require entering a password after different amounts of time left unattended. This will stop them from shutting down by command but won't stop them from pressing the off button.

I took a big piece of paper and typed in 100 font "Keep hands OFF!" So far so good!

I'm sure some code head could make some software to do that. I've not made the effort to get in the OS services to make such a service as I think I have a better way which I use.

What I have for compiling of code or running reports is a Mac Mini under my desk which I share the HD with to write my code and then I run Apple's Remote to remotely control it, I have it do all the long processing chores. No display or keyboard or mouse on it and is plugged in to a UPS as well.

This leaves my desktop system free for other things and no one can mess it up (including me).
