Time stamp on apps is different from my MBP

MacBook Pro 15" (v5.3) Unibody Mid 2009

Hello,

First, I'm sorry for my bad english and hope you can understand me.

Some months ago, my MBP started to show the wrong time, one hour into the future, although the automatic (apples european timeserver) adjustment is active in system-adjustments.

I have changed it manually, now when i get messages in iMessage or in Safari (facebook) the timestamp is shown the time one hour in the past. --> my time 14:00 but in fb 13:00.

Is this a cmos battery problem?

please help me, i don't know what to do... :(

best regards...

Sorry I jumped the gun here. Your system doesn't have a CMOS battery. Check your time zone settings. Make sure it's correct, then manually set the date & time (make sure your not connected to the network in any way). Once you have the Zone, Date & Time correctly set restart your system and then connect to the network it should stay at the correct settings now.

Go to System preference > Date & Time > Time Zone and reselect your correct zone.
