firstly my iPod's camera stopped working then suddenly my iPod also.....i have tried to reset it but failed....it does not sync or charge further it got over heated both charger and iPod please guide.

aman, the overheating can be caused by a bad battery as well as a bad power management IC. Either case, you would have to disassemble your iPod. Use this guide to change your battery. It is a bit of a PITA to work on it, but can be done. Once you replace the battery, re-evaluate and see what you got. Make sure that the dock connector is clean, and that it does not have any bend or broken pins. Hope this helps, good luck.
