battery drain in standby mode

My phone use a lot of battery even in standby mode and when I don't use it. Have tried restore it at home and in the local apple store. A quick look at the menu shows almost the same time "in use" and "standby mode" since last recharge.

Have tried "everything" like turning off all settings, push, deleting apps and so on.

The service guys wont fix it as they blame it to liquid damage. Could this be a hardware error or most likely a software problem?

Do one thing calibrate the battery then use it for the whole day . Do this procedure 2 times. then check having same problem . if have then change the battery .
