Touch screen and back light working but not LCD after repair.

Replaced a cracked display assembly with a new one. My LCD does not work but there is a faint backlight coming through and the touch screen works. Sort of... For instance it won't let me slide to unlock the phone but if I turn on voice over it recognizes my touch to tell me the date and time. Any ideas what might be wrong?

Hi

Please can you recheck the connectors of the LCD/Digtizer to ensure they are seated properly if not then the usual problem is that when feeding the replacement digitizer cables through the midframe if you dont pull them through completely sometimes you can squash and crimp the cable resulting inwhat you are saying

Regards

Ali
