Dead Power supply

Hi I also have a dead power supply. Not sure why it is so impossible to find step by step instructions to replace. I have DVD's for some sort of fan synchronization. Help!

To get you to the correct power supply we need to know your exact machine. Please give us the last three figures of your serial number (located usually by the video port or on the lower part of the door frame. The fan syntonization is needed when any major component of the unit is replaced to keeps the fans from running wild.
