i pod randomly turns off but than
i was listening to my ipod when it suddenly turned off.
before i had to restore it and hadn't used it in a while
when i found it.
could heat be factor of why it turns off?

cesar, that could be, but my money is on a bad battery. By now it probably has lost its ability to hold a charge. Here is the guide and it is not an easy task, but doable. The battery is available right here. Hope this helps, good luck.
