Which HDD in the optibay?

Hi

I want add an 2nd HDD in my Imac 20" mid 2006 thanks to an optibay.

I know that the optibay is connected to the motherboard in PATA.

This link is quick or not ?

An SSD in the optibay will improve the speed or I must save my money and buy a basic HDD ?

Test it out and see if the SSD runs faster in the hard drive bay or the optical bay. Both use a SATA connection in the optibay.
