Will not charge or connect to itunes

iPhone stopped charging my phone so I replaced the battery and works fine now because the battery was charged when I replaced it, but it will not take a charge or connect to itunes.

Renee, if it does not charge nor connect to iTunes, the logic choice would be a new dock connector. This is that part that connects all off that together. Of course you also want to make sure that you have a good working cable. Take a look at your connector and see if it shows signs of corrosion, broken or bend pins. Try cleaning it with some isopropyl alcohol and some puffs of compressed air. If that does not help, replace the dock connector, here is the guide for it, and you can get the part from here, and re-evaluate. Hope this helps, good luck.

The USB power ic could be bad as well. Its not uncommon to see that go bad on the iPhone 4 or 4s. But as mentioned above, it is more likely the dock connector.

Dynex cords from Best Buy do NOT work to connect to iTunes. They only work for charging. I have a iPhone 4s and exchanged it thinking it was the phone. The whole time it was the cord.
