iPhone 4S proximity sensor not working after earpiece replacement.

I just replaced my iPhone 4S earpiece speaker with a genuine one. Since then the proximity sensor is not working. Tried resetting and restoring. The ambient light sensor works without any issue

sounds like you have damadged the cable. i would try replacing it

there are not a lot of problems with the proximity sensor on the 4s

Hi Shahid

Before replacing the cable i would suggest that you purchase some proximity sensor stickers of ebay, i usually find that when replacing the front digitizer the sensor may fail and by sticking one of these stickers will cure the fault
