Need chipset information on Galaxy SIII

Hi,

I recently bought a second hand S3. I needed its motherboard as my old S3 got water damaged but screen was working.

I have assembled it after cleaning and everything is working fine almost(looks brand new). While assembling I noticed one small chip missing from the new motherboard I used. I want to know the functionality of this chip to know what I am missing. Please respond. I have given below both the pics, with and without that chip:

The vibration is not working in the phone but I am not sure if it is linked to this chip.

Thanks

Namit

Thanks everyone who replied to my post. I checked on the fault motherboard to find any number on that chip but it doesn't have any. It is plain.

No problem, my new mobile is working absolutely without this chip too. I have not faced any problem till now.

Thanks to Ifixit team for having this forum and thanks everyone who tried from their part.

Namit Gupta, here is what I got. It is marked as U101 on the logic board and it appears to be a DUPLEXER-ASM;2140MHz,1960MHz,2140MHz/0.9 Again, any description on your IC will help to further clarify this.

Hey, I just looked at my board... It's the Canadian Galaxy S3 with Bell, So I have the I-747M, but I believe the boards should be similar if not the same and I don't have that chip either. Sorry I couldn't give you a better answer.

Hi, if u look closely the tracks that lead from the chip goes to two connectors. If u can find out what those connectors do, then it would be more easy to find out what the chip does. Also can u provide what is written on the chip?

Hi, if u look at the tear down at this page, Samsung Galaxy S III Teardown, I think this one also does not have it. However, I speculate it has to do something with the antennas. If you can get me the part number I can maybe provide more info on that.
