Front camera shutter won't open after teardown

I did a complete teardown of the iPhone 5 and then when I put it back together the front camera is stuck in the shutter just like the iPhone 4 used todo. Is it something I did, I know on the iPhone 4 when unplugging the cables it was possible to break off one of the connections bridges on the logic board. Is this what happened? Please help!

It is the same connector that broke off on all the iPhone 4's. Just be careful pulling up the cables for the display and you shouldn't ever have a problem!

It is one of the very small bridge connectors that are all over the logic board. It was one to the right side of all the connectors. It must of got broken off when you were popping the connectors out. All you need to do it to get some liquid solder and dab just a little onto that place where the connector has been broken to bridge them back together. I will be taking my phone apart in the next couple of days and I will take a picture of exactly where i soldered and show you where the connector on the board is. They are very very tiny and hard to find. I had to use to magnify glasses to find it.

Good luck!

Hi.

I have exactly the same problem as described here. I really would like to know exactly where this broken connector is so I can repair it with a circuit writer. Zack Seltzer could you possibly upload a picture as you seem to know which one it is that breaks?

Thanks in advance.

So guess i gone have to try the "draw a new line" :-)

It's not possible to upload pictrues here :-)

If you look at picture in link you will see straight right at the bottom of the right connector thers a missing tiny resistor
