After Front Panel replacement, speakers, Dock and Mic don't work

Hi guys,

I just successfully replaced the front panel of my iPhone cause the glad was Brocken and touch didn't work.

After I reassembled the phone, everything was working except the laud speakers, mic, dock connector(no charging available anymore).

What could be the reason? Which part connects these elements to motherboard.

I also don't get how the mic(bottom black part) is connected. As far as I remember it has just one cable that connects with motherboard - that's the antena cable, but what with the rest?

Hi

The issue is maybe 2 things

The mic connector at the bottom (the balc with the antenna cable) you will notice has 4 metal prongs, these need to be tucked in underneath the metal midframe, if they sit on top you may get the issues you are describing

if these 4 prongs are correct then the fault is likely to be with the cable that feeds these things not being on properley, this is the cable that has the little black metal plate with the 2 screws.

Ensure this cable is down properly

i provide a link to a video that may help

At about 2:43 you will see the metal plate and cable i am referring to

Ali
