How to replace cracked digitizer glass screen on HTC EVO DESIGN 4G?

Hi, I have a HTC EVO DESIGN 4G cell phone with a cracked glass screen. (Please note EVO DESIGN, not just EVO). I have opened the phone and have removed the cracked glass lens from the LCD panel. I have purchased a replacement glass digitizer screen. However this glass screen has a cable that needs to go between the LCD panel and a metal plate that is attached to the back of the LCD panel. I cannot find any instructions or UTUBE videos for the same on the internet. Even the manual on android forums does not mention how to put the glass lens on the LCD display. Can you help me with the same? I can send pictures if you need me to. Please let me know. I really appreciate all your help.
