Repairing iPod Touch 4G LCD connector on Logic Board

Hi, I'm having a major problem with my iPod. So, to make a long story short, I tried to repair my iPod's cracked LCD screen and accidentally broke the pins on the LCD connector on the logic board. If anyone here is able to help me, please reply asap.

Tony, this will depend on if you can solder very small surface mount components onto a multilayer board, and if you have the tools to do so. This is an extremely difficult repair. check this video to see how it is done. The part is available at places like this or even on here. Hope this helps, good luck.

Thank you for your reply. I have no soldering experience as I've never ever encountered a problem like this. Do you know any reliable companies who does repairs for my problem?

That will depend on your geographical location....

I can ship it somewhere else, so it's not an issue. I live in Fresno, California :)

Also, I'd be happy to replace the whole logic board if needed :)

Tony, check for the user hectordtruong. Hector does some great board repair and is a user on here. I have not seen him around for a while, so you may check his email address. All contact information should be on his profile.
