hi there i have got a macbook MA699LL/A 2006 its running on lion 10.7.5 its got a 1.83ghz i wanna upgrade the hard drive and ram i want max ram and 500gb hard drive what hard drive a what max ram do i need many thanks joe hopefully you can help me

Max RAM 2GB (2x1GB Chips) no slots free. HD must be 1.5GBs (SATA I) not SATA II or III... be aware that some new drives claim backward compatibility but people come here complaining of slow/freezing/hanging problems and it turns out it's trying to run a SATA III "compatible" drive in an older box.
