How can I tell if my iPhone is CDMA or GSM?

Hi, I purchased an Unlocked iPhone 4. How can I tell if it is a CDMA or GSM before I buy the screen replacement?

Rick, The GSM phone has a SIM card, the CDMA does not. The SIM card tray is located on the right side of the mid-frame. There is more on how to identify your phone on here. Hope this helps, good luck.

CDMA phones have no sim tray on side and a model number on rear case tha reads 1337 or 1339.

GSM phones have a "micro" sim tray on the right hand side of case and carry a model number of1332 on the rear

If your sure it's a 4 and not a 4 s the way to tell is if it has a sim card tray on the side of the phone it would be a GSM phone. Another way to tell would be to use the Apple web site to ID it using your serial number on the back.
