Water Damage Troubleshooting - working with errors
Son tipped water over the computer and kept using it, I don't know how long the water was on the computer before I shut it down. Sucked the water out of the keyboard with my mouth (:-0) and dried the surface water with a cloth. Closed it up, took it home, opened it up again... it came on so I rebooted it... It didn't start.
Next day took it to a shop, it wasn't turning on. Got myself a replacement computer.
Pulled the macbook pro apart, left it 2 weeks to dry out.
Put it all back together.
It boots into safe mode, keyboard doesn't work because the password is always wrong. Plugged in a USB keyboard and can log into computer. Screen has a little bit of a wiggle across the middle, but otherwise seems to work.
So is the keyboard the only problem or do I have a logic board problem too? If it was one or the other I would replace the offending item. If it is both I will try to sell the computer for parts! Can someone help me with the troubleshooting? At the moment the computer is in pieces again.
Thanks to anyone that can help!
Is this a good question?
