Hello All
Can anybody advise what temp and how long the heat gun should be used for on the macbook pro to loosen the adhesive.
on the Ipad 2's i normally use a hairdryer which does the trick
i also did the same on the macbook pro but it broke the front glass (this is what i was replacing anyway)
All advise and guidance would be appreciate

I changed one last week and I used 150 Celcius on my air station. It will not melt the plastic trim around the glass. You have to be very careful and do not hurry. Repeat, do not hurry. It will come out without breaking. I started with a small spatula and a suction cup and after getting a little working room I use guitar picks to remove the glass.
