any differences between the SSD discs on 13" and 15"?

Hi!

Is there any differences between the SSD discs on 13" and 15"?

My 13" retina got jägermeister all over and died completely. Now I'm buying a 15" retina and I want to know if it's possible to replace the hard drive with the one in the broken 13" so that i don't loose all my valuable data.

Best regards,

Mikkel Christiansen

Mikkel - SSD's are Solid State Drives are not disks as in Hard Disks.

You sound like the Saviour character on Walking Dead, correcting Enid for saying 'Veggies' when she should be saying 'Vegetables.'

As to your Q - I would recommend getting an external case to hold your old SSD from your now dead MBPr and leave your new system alone. If you want to increase the SSD's size bigger than what Apple sells then open it up to put the bigger SSD in. Once you get the SSD installed in it's case then you can copy your files over and still have a neat backup solution.

That's a great idea, but what is the answer to the OP's question?

I'm pretty sure they're not interchangeable but hopefully somebody knows the odd balls which can be swapped..
