Wrong screen assembly bought gsm need cdma

I have the Cdma iphone version, but I bought the gsm screen assembly so I am missing one of the cables. Do I have to buy a new screen or can I work with this one. Please help!!!!!

You need the correct display assembly for your iPhone. It's not just cables, the tabs are different and will not go into the wrong phone.

snip off one of the tabs on the side to make room for the sim card slot. That will work. Do it all the time.

One tab will not be enough. 7 of the 10 tabs are in a different location. For the best repair get a true CDMA iPhone 4 front assembly.

All you need to do is run your thumbnail around the lip between the glass and the midframe and remove it and replace with the one from the old digitizer everything else is the same. Even if its an iphone 4 gsm cdma or 4s all of the digitizers are the same.

You need to remove the frame from the actual glass on both screens and switch them.
