Have replaced screen but have no display at all.

Hello my daughter dropped her iPod touch and cracked the screen. We tried to replace it but now have no display on the screen. Although it connects to iTunes and all the data is still there

Chosen Solution

You damaged the ribbon cable on the new display assembly. You will need to buy a new display assembly, or exchange it. But you can try reseating the connector even though it probably won't work. Still worth a try. If it doesn't help, bad display.
