WiFi Not Working, cannot find a signal

Hello,

I bought this iPhone a while back.

It was working fine until now, I haven't dropped it or anything!

The WiFi sometimes works and sometimes it doesn't but most of the time it doesn't. I tried to update the software, reset my router and everything failed. I have 3 other iPhones in the house and they can all connect to the WiFi. Also it doesn't seem to work with any other WiFi points.

Could you tell me how to fix this and which part to buy as I looked at the GPS Antenna fix but I'm not sure if this fixes the WiFi problem.

Thanks a lot!

This usually means your wifi antenna has disconnected from the logic board, or you need to replace the antenna, here is a guide to step you through either fix, iPhone 3GS GPS Antenna Replacement, and here is an antenna if you need to replace it, https://www.gounlock.com/details.php?ite..., good luck, If this Answer is helpful please remember to return and mark it Accepted.

Hahaha. I had the exact same problem, read the above answer, turned my iphone upside down, tapped it on my knee a few times and voila! Wifi detected and connected!

I'm feeling like the Fonz right about now!

The link explanation seemed a little bit complicated, so I tried the more professional knee-taping-procedure and that worked. Thanks a lot for your incredible professional help ;)
