My display panel on my mac is not longer working my mac comes on cuz i hear it but no display I try to hook up an external monitor but i get nothing when I try to use the keypad to switch over to the external monitor would you say this is LED driver board? display data cable?

If the external monitor won't work, most likely your video chip GPU is gone. Hook it up in target mode, (connect to another Mac using a firewire cable and start up holding the "T" key down). You should now be able to access the hard drive and recover your data. Let me know if this works and we can proceed.
