MacBook model A1181 will not start up- has power -

Laptop will power on but only an apple and a processing symbol come up - I tried putting a hardware troubleshooting CD in the CD drive but it did nothing except there is now noise in the CD drive when I power it on. I can not get the CD out.

Hold the the power button down until it turns off. Then power it back up and press and hold the "D" key.
