My ipod touch is dead. And when i don't have it plugged in it just has the plug in symbol, and when i plug it in to the computer it does the charging symbol but just for a second then it goes away. And when i leave it in for a long time then take it out it will just do the plug in sy,bol again and it will not turn on when plugged in?! HELP.

JessGarlow, sounds like you are having a bad battery. Since you did not tell us which iPod you have, select your model from here and start with a new battery. There are many other things that could be non-functioning, but a new battery will provide you with a known good starting point. Hope this helps, good luck.
