iPhone screen is blank

My iPhone 4s took a suicidal fall off of a counter, falling about 4 feet onto tile. The screen went dark gray/blue with lines. The rest of the touchscreen still works, I can still slide the unlock screen (I can hear the click) and play music, so everything seems to be functioning except for the screen. Any tips? Something simply get jarred loose?

on the inside of the display LCD there is a screen controller that cracked from the fall. this is what is causing the lines and colors. the touch panel is separate from the display LCD and will still work even if chunks are missing. You must replace the LCD display assembly which includes the touch panel as they are laminated together. There are guides for repairing this in the iphone section on iFixit. I suggest you purchase the assembly from an eBay top rated seller as iFixit is quite pricy.

I agree with Kaden, I would replace the screen assembly, But, Daniel I would caution you on buying any phone parts on ebay, I have a phone shop and early on was trying screens on ebay and Amazon and had such bad luck with their screens that I will never buy any parts from either of the two, I would get it on here or here is a link, https://www.gounlock.com/search.php?prod..., good luck,
