Video card or Logic board needs repair (Out of date Repair Program)

Hi,

I've got a MBP 15" model A1226 and recently my video card failed. According to this website (http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2377) this model have a problem with the video card. I'm out-to-date in my issue because this problem occurred this month and the program ended in December :-(

Is posible to fix this with Apple? Any suggestion?

I live in Chile, so that is another problem.

Options

Apple will not fix this computer any longer because it is considered "vintage". If you can get the part from www.powerbookmedic.com or www.dvwarehouse.com you could always try installing it yourself. PowerBookMedic also has a "Send IN" Logic Board repair program that would save you some money if you want to get your logic board fixed. Hope this helps.
