For children I would advice you to buy an iPad, this because of the larger amount of fun games for children and an interface which I find better for children.
I think an iPad 2 will do the job and will be less expensive than one of the newer models. If money isn't a big problem then a newer iPad will be better.

it is for my daughter she is 11 years old and they want the tablet on the Web and play games, so like you said.

Hi, Here is a link to the maker-- you should be able to find technical answers there. It doesn't seem that anyone here has owned one of these to comment, I would agree with OT and suggest a Kindle Fire.
