Vibrate Switch Stripped Screw Help

Please refer to the following manual for the screw I am referring to:

iPhone 4S, Headphone Jack Cable, Step 32

The screw head is stripped. Im looking for a way to get this thing out and replace it. Drilling and tapping is out I assume because its so dang small. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

If you hold the back of the phone and push up while pressing down to loosen the screw. A small flat tip precision screwdriver typically works.

Superglue will work. I always prefer the Gel type.

I keep a bottle of ScrewGrab in the shop, you can find it on Amazon.

You could try using super glue or a similar epoxy to bind it to your screwdriver, then replace the screw with a new one. I suggest something along the lines of JB Weld or Loctite. As it's a small area to work with I suggest applying the epoxy to the screwdriver first, not the screw to prevent overflow/spilling onto nearby components! Good luck!
