Touch Screen Not Working in my iPod Touch

Touch screen stopped working out of no where and i'm almost positive it's not under warranty anymore. The other buttons work like the home button,but the touchscreen won't work

here is a screenshot of my issue..i am really glad your help

the image you posted is not a iPod Touch. It is a iPod classic and does not have a touch screen. Looking at the image you posted, that one will definitely need a new LCD. Please clarify what iPod you have.
