Replaced the 500GB HDD for 1TB, Help.

Hello, So I'm using HDD fan control and everything is working fine but I'd like to know if there is a program I can use in Boot Camp to control the maximum fan speed, I'm only doing this because this imac model is messed up once you replace HDD.

Options

On this model the hard drives have Apple proprietary heat sensors and the fans go wild if replaced with a non-Apple drive. Do a web search for Apple part # 661-5517 which is a 1 TB Apple drive that will solve your issues.

Thanks for the reply, I have found a Western Digital WD5000AAKX, the one that comes with the imac ends in AAKS, do you know if it will work?
