My I pod wont charge

lallana fan, try to charger it on an AC charger and see if that makes a difference. the Ac charger will supply a higher amperage and it is possible that the battery has discharged below its threshold. If that does not help, start by cleaning the dock connector. Use some isopropyl alcohol and a few puffs of compressed air. Check for broken, bend or corroded pins. also, try a different cable. If none of that works, replace the battery. Use this guide to get it done. If nothing else it will give you a known good starting point, should further troubleshooting become necessary.
