Inverter, minor logic board trace damage, possible repair?

Hello:)

I have MacBook Core Duo A1181 1.83 logic board, I did a complete overhaul and replaced the screen casing and lower case.

After I put it back together I connected it to the 60W new gen magsafe.

As soon as I connected the power adapter (the battery was not inserted btw) I saw a spark close to the inverter connector and quickly removed the charger.

I then reconnected it and no spark, so I connected the keyboard and switched it on, the inverter wasn t working.

I then decided to wipe off some of the burnt silicon to see whether the connection would be improved, that made the inverter work for about 5min, so I cleaned it up some more and in doing so disconnected or lifted up a part of the copper trace.

Is it possible to repair it myself?

If that is the case, is there anyone out there who knows what I should reconnect it to?

I have attached a picture so you can all see the damage.
