Why won't my iPhone play sound (both speakers and headphones)?

I dropped my iPhone and now it doesn't play any sound--out of headphones, the bottom speaker, or the earpiece speaker. I believe the mic doesn't work either.

As a sidenote, it's also started sometimes shutting down unexpectedly.

I've tried a full restore from DFU mode and it's still there, so I believe this is a hardware issue.

What can I replace to fix this?

Just noticed you have never gotten an answer on this. Is it still a valid question or did you get it resolved?

Unfortunately, no. Ended up having to get a new iPhone, which is having its own unique problems.

Sorry to hear that. But if your new (other ) phone has "issues" just ask and eventually someone on here is going to pick it up. There are some real guru's that are just itching to help :) good luck.
