iPhone 4 screen problem after power flex replacement

I replaced the power flex cable and now the screen has some back light and itunes sees the phone and all my files on it, but I can touch anything on the screen or see any icons or buttons. Did I break something? Cant restore with itunes cause the phone is passcoded and I cants enter pass code with the screen. Any way to fix this or restore to factory default without passcode?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

You can restore it. What you need to do is put phone in DFU mode. To achieve DFU mode, turn off your phone, plug it into your computer and follow these steps.

Once the phone is off and plugged in....

1) Push and hold iPhone power button for 3 seconds.

2) Then press and hold the home button for 10 seconds while still holding the power button.

3) Release the power button but continue to hold down the home button.

4. iTunes should say something about the phone being in recovery mode and needs to restore so go ahead and restore.

If this works then problem solved. If not, look up DFU mode on google and if you still cannot get it to restore reply to this.

As for the power flex cable, what exactly are you talking about? You may have broken something but I can't tell by the description

Good Luck! I'll check on this later today.

I always remove the front glass when doing a power button flex so as to not damage the lcd/digitizer cables which are in the way of the screws. You could have possibly damaged the cables.
