Locked screen will not unlock after dropping in toilet

My itouch 4th gen got knocked into the toilet on Monday (Dec 3). I turned off the power and blow dried it for a few minutes. I turned on the itouch the next day and everything seems to be working.

Today when I woke up, my itouch was frozen, the locked home screen could not be unlocked because the touch screen doesn't seem to be working. I can't "slide to power off" either so I had to restart it by force. When I restarted the first time the touch screen worked, so I didn't think much of it. Unfortunately I had to do that at least 5 times today. The itouch is in a bag of dry rice right now (some say dry rice will get rid of some of the water).

Is there a way to fix this problem?
