my mic stopped working i could only talk on speaker phone so i replaced the charging port dock and mic assembly but the mic still dosent work

This is one procedure that has always been a success in my shop and I have replaced a lot of them, maybe your new part is bad or somehow you missed something I would look everything over again using these instructions and if that doesn't fix it try another new dock connector from a reliable parts source, hopefully not eBay, I have had real bad luck buying parts and any phones on there, good luck ! iPhone 4S Dock Connector Replacement , would love to here how this turns out.
