corner screen backlight bleeding.

So this started a couple of days ago. My iPod touch was bought like 6 months ago. Just found a photo on the net from a guy with the same problem. [image link]

Is this still covered by apple warranty? If not, what are my options for fixing this?

since the iPod is 6 month old - i would say that you should go to apple.

the "bleeding" is normally a problem with the diffuser

i don't know what the build into the touch - most of the devices have multiple different diffusers (matte, reflective..)

some led backlights have another diffuser directly on top of the led's

BUT - the "bleeding" can also be a pressure issue - if you bend a lcd slightly - it will change the colors or intensity - that could also be a problem when the lcd's are brand new - for example - look at this ebay auction: 220501497006 (put that number in the ebay search) and have a look at the picture - especially on the bottom edges
