short-circuit with dc-board and power adapter
Hi all,
I've changed a faulty logic board in a 14" iBook, with a "good" one, when it was halfly assembled (without shielding, and cases) I've tried it, it worked.
After I fully assembled it, I couldn't turn it on.
I've fully disassembled it and connected a power adaptor to dc-board, I've heard a noise like a short-circuit sparkling and I've also smelt it.
But if I unplug DC-board, and turn it on with a battery, it runs.
Update
I've found an smd cicruit moved from its position, and a circuit with colored (burned?) pin, my colleauge change them, but the situation remained the same. But when I touch the circuits around the dc-board connection at logic board I've found 4 circuits extremelly hot (my finger can't stand the heat), when the adapter was plugged in. I marked them the picture below:
With another iBook, this circuits are cool.
Is this a good question?
I've forgotted to mention, that it sparkling with two different power adaptor, and three DC-boards (one 14", two 12")

It seems that a 4435 MOSFET circuit died in the 24V power line.
It also labelled as P42AA.
I have a few logic board, but I couldn't find an exactly same one.
I have the following 4435's:
L37AA (G4 12” 800MHz)
L47AA (G4 12” 800MHz)
L47CA (G4 12” 1064MHz)
L48AA (G4 12” 1,2GHz)
L44CA (G4 14” 1,33GHz)
To which one of this could I have change the died one?
Or doesn't matter till it comes from an iBook logicboard?

Trying to find a datasheet for any off the components but none of the numbers cross reference. Any chance you could post a less blurry image that show the markings a bit clearer?
